UPDATimes - Xiaomi introduces a new ultrabook laptop duo named Mi NoteBook 14 and Mi NoteBook 14 Horizon Edition. Both were announced at an event in India this week. Mi NoteBook 14 has a thickness of 18 mm and weighs 1.4 kg. The screen uses a 14 inch diagonal LCD panel. (1,920x1,080, 16: 9). The body is made of magnesium-aluminum metal. The NoteBook 14 is powered by a 10th generation Intel Core i5-10210U. Xiaomi provides an option to add discrete graphics in the form of the Nvidia GeForce MX250, in addition to the already available Intel UHD 620. In the memory sector, available 8GB RAM DDR4 RAM and SSD SATA 256/512 GB storage media, there are two USB type A 3.1 ports and a single USB 2.0 port, along with HDMI and 3.5mm audio port.

Other features include Bluetooth version 5.0 and a fingerprint scanner. There is also Mi Blaze Unlock, where users can unlock laptops with their Mi Band smart wristbands. Mi NoteBook 14 battery is claimed to last up to 10 hours. Xiaomi equip this laptop with a 65 watt charger which is said to be able to charge up to 50 percent in 30 minutes. The Mi NoteBook 14, with an Intel UHD 620 GPU and 256GB SSD, starts at 41,999 rupees. Variants with 512 GB SSDs are priced at 44,999 rupees (Rp. 8.4 million), then variants with GPU GeForce MX250 are valued at 7,999 rupees (Rp. 8.9 million),

As summarized by UPDATimes from GSM Arena, Saturday (06/13/2020), the weight of the Mi NoteBook 14 Horizon Edition is slightly lighter than the "regular" edition, which is 1.35 kg. The thickness is equally 18mm. The Bezel or Horizon Edition screen frame is also 3 millimeters thinner than the regular version. As a result the body to screen ratio is wider at 91 percent, compared to 81 percent for "siblings".

Due to the thin bezel on the top or side, there isn't enough space to install the webcam. The same thing also happens in the regular model.

That's why Xiaomi includes an Mi Webcam HD accessory for all Mi NoteBook 14. models. This webcam supports resolutions up to 720p. There are two variants available for the Mi NoteBook 14 Horizon Edition, each powered by a Core i5-10210U and Core i7-10510U. Both variants are equipped with 8 GB of RAM, 512 GB SSD storage and Nvidia GeForce MX350 GPU. Other specifications are more or less with the regular version, except for the Core i7 model which is equipped with a USB type C port. The Mi NoteBook 14 Horizon Edition goes on sale at 54,999 rupees (Rp 1-2 million) for variants with a Core i5 processor, while the Core i7 variant is sold at a price of 59,999 (Rp. 11.2 million). Not yet known whether Xiaomi will bring this duo Mi NoteBook 14 laptop to Indonesia or not.
