UPDATimes - After rumors had circulated that Lisa BLACKPINK was cheated by her former manager herself, YG Entertainment finally confirmed that Lisa had been the victim of her former manager's fraud, amounting to Rp. 11.8 billion.

"After seeing the problem, we confirmed that Lisa was a victim of fraud by a former 'A' manager," YG Entertainment said in a statement.
The agency also revealed that the former manager with the initials A was someone whom Lisa trusted. This is also what made Lisa still want to take the peaceful path to resolve the issue.
The former manager who had the heart to cheat Lisa was known to have replaced part of the amount of money he took.

"Lisa hopes to resolve this issue peacefully because her former manager is someone whom Lisa believes deeply," he continued.
This fraud case originated from news that said that A, received money from Lisa who claimed to look for real estate. However, the former manager instead used the money for gambling.
From an unnamed source, A was working when BLACKPINK debuted and became a confidant of Lisa for being a newcomer.

"Because Lisa is a foreign member and in Korea alone since she was young, she is very vulnerable to things like this. It's unfortunate that something like this happens in the industry. This is a serious situation that could damage the image of local management," said the source.
