UPDATimes - One area in the Chinese capital, Beijing, was tightly quarantined after the first corona virus case in the city was found in about 50 days.
The outbreak of this outbreak is associated with the largest wholesale market in the city.
Forty-five of the 517 people tested at the Xinfadi market were found to be positive at Covid-19, a district official said. There are no symptoms.
Regional quarantine has been implemented in 11 nearby areas, while 10,000 market staff will undergo tests.
The authorities also want to test all people who have recently made contact with the market and residents who live in the surrounding districts.
This is the first new case to be confirmed in Beijing in more than 50 days.

Second wave worries
The Xinfadi market in Fengtai district, southwest of Beijing city, was closed early Saturday after two people who had recently visited the market were reported to be affected by Covid-19.
Tests on the market then showed 45 people carried the virus.
Thousands of people who work in the market are now undergoing tests.
"In line with the principle of prioritizing public safety and health, we have implemented quarantine measures for the Xinfadi market and the surrounding environment," Chu Junwei, a district official, said at a briefing meeting.
The district is now in a "wartime emergency mode", he added.
Hundreds of military police have entered the market which is now quarantined. The transportation network and the nearest school have been closed.
Shortly thereafter in Beijing all sports activities were canceled and major public facilities were closed down again.
Now there are fears of a second wave of viruses in the capital.
The corona virus outbreak in China is controlled through some of the most stringent restrictive measures in the world after the disease was detected in Wuhan city.
More than 4,600 people in China have lost their lives due to the corona virus; while worldwide 426,000 people have died, according to John Hopkins University.
The authorities in China are not sure how the large wholesale market of Xinfandi - which supplies 80% of vegetables and meat in the city of Beijing - could be a source of new corona virus outbreaks.
In recent months, the Chinese government's strategy has been to isolate the entire city where the corona virus cluster appeared.
This step seemed to succeed but quarantined the whole of Beijing, at a time when it seemed that the virus had been controlled, not something they wanted to do in a hurry.
