UPDATimes - The number of positive cases of corona virus in the United States has exceeded 2 million, according to data compiled by Johns Hopkins University.
This makes the US as the country with the highest Covid-19 case in the world, almost three times that of Brazil which ranks second with 772,416 as of Thursday (11/06) afternoon WIB.
The US also won the title as the country with the most number of tests, which is around 500,000 tests every day. That is also one of the reasons why the US records around 20,000 per day.
Regarding mortality, the US ranks first in the world.
Of the 416,201 people who died from the corona virus throughout the universe, 112,924 of them are in the US. Britain, which is under the US, recorded 41,213 people died due to Covid-19. As for Brazil reported 39,680 deaths. However, each country records the death of Covid-19 differently.
Although daily cases declined sharply in several regions in the US, an increase in cases actually took place in 20 states.
New York Times daily data shows daily cases over the past two weeks have increased in:
California; Texas; Florida; North Carolina; Arizona; Tennessee; Washington; South Carolina; Missouri; Utah; Kentucky; Arkansas; Nevada; New Mexico; Oregon; Idaho; Vermont; Hawaii; Alaska; and Montana.
The New York Times called this increase "partly because some [states] have recently strengthened testing capacity".
Trump campaign next week

"We will start the march. We believe the first [march] might be in Tulsa, Oklahoma. The event will be great," he said.
Trump is struggling to be elected for the second time as president, but figures in the interim polls show him lagging behind Democratic candidate Joe Biden.
Some analysts assess the way Trump is dealing with the corona virus pandemic in the US and the Black Lives Matters movement may hurt his popularity.
Due to social restrictions, political marches that are key to Trump's campaign in the 2016 presidential election cannot be carried out over the past few weeks.
