North Korea Puts Large Speakers on the Border with South Korea

UPDATimes - Increased tensions between North Korea (North Korea) and South Korea (South Korea) led the two countries to take a number of surprising actions at the border.

North Korea reportedly built a large speaker on the border of the two countries.

As quoted by Reuters, the country's military leader Kim Jong-un was building the speaker Tuesday (06/23/2020) local time.

The speaker is facing towards South Korea. Reportedly, the North will broadcast a monologue about the superiority of the Pyongyang socialist regime.

That way anyone can hear it, both those who don't want it.

Actually the installation of large speakers on the Korean border is nothing new.

South Korea had done it and broadcast K-Pop songs, something that was criticized by North Korea's socialist regime.

However, the speaker was later revealed in 2018. But South Korea threatened to re-install it if North Korea broadcasts something from their speakers.

"We also think we will re-install the loudspeaker. But the North has not made anything, and we are ready to respond at any time, "the South Korean military told Reuters.

Previously, South Korea had already flown balloons containing propaganda into North Korea.

The party responsible for the balloon flight was a South Korean activist, Park Sang-hak.

According to Park, Kim Jong-un's government was a demon and governed his country barbaricly.
