UPDATimes - The Government of the Libyan National Agreement (GNA) is determined to immediately control Sirte and Al Jufra.

This was revealed by the Libyan Ministry of Defense, through Deputy Minister, Salah Al-Namroush.

According to him, this is the best way to calm the parties of friendly countries Libya.

"This is the best way for all brothers and colleagues to help take over Sirte and Al Jufra to be controlled by the state," said a statement quoted from the Turkish news agency, Anadolu.

"We expect support from your brothers and colleagues to support the official government in order to achieve stability in all regions of Libya," he continued.

At present Sirte and Al Jufra are the base areas of the Government of the Libyan National Army (LNA) led by General Khalifa Hatar.

GNA itself is the official government of Libya which is recognized by the United Nations. At present, in Libya there is indeed a civil war going on between GNA and LNA.

A number of Arab countries were involved in the war, one of which was Egypt which supported the LNA.

Even the Egyptian side through the president, Abdel Fattah Al-Sisi threatened to conduct military intervention in Libya, if the GNA carried out an attack on Sirte.

The GNA itself had launched a Peace Storm Operation against HList in March by carrying out an attack on the capital city of Tripoli.

In addition, the attack was also carried out on Heheh's strongest form in Tarhuna, the western side of Libya.
