UPDATimes - One senior Italian doctor revealed that the corona virus (Covid-19) had lost its potential or weakened and was not too deadly anymore, as reported by Reuters on Sunday (05/31/2020) local time.

"In reality, this virus clinically no longer exists in Italy," said Alberto Zangrillo, head of the San Raffaele Hospital in Milan in northern Lombardy, which has borne the burden of contracting the Italian corona virus.

"The treatment carried out over the past 10 days shows quantitatively the case of the corona virus which is really very small compared to that carried out a month or two months ago," he told RAI television.
For information, the mortality rate of corona virus cases in Italy is among the third highest in the world due to COVID-19, with 33,415 people dead since the outbreak was revealed February 21.
