Lorenzo Value Marquez Approaching the Leading Position in MotoGP

UPDATimes - New York - MotoGP commentator, Paolo Beltramo, saw the old figure of Marc Marquez (Repsol Honda) at the French MotoGP 2021. Even so, Marquez failed to complete the race which took place at the Bugatti Circuit, Le Mans, Sunday, May 16, 2021, that night.
Marquez became a byword for his slick performance at the start of the French MotoGP race in 2021. Even though he started the race from sixth position, Marquez was able to occupy the first position on the sixth lap.
Former MotoGP racer Jorge Lorenzo thinks Marc Marquez is now closer to the top position in the 2021 MotoGP race.
Marquez suffered bad luck in the French MotoGP 2021 at the Le Mans Circuit after two falls. The Spaniard started the race from sixth position, even at the beginning of the race, Marquez could occupy the leading position.
"Apart from the accident and bad results and made him move away from the championship, we saw a Marc who is more solid, stronger, and closer to the top position," said Lorenzo was quoted by Marca.
Marquez appeared fast on the wet track. However, it was unlucky for Marquez after falling at Turn 14 on the eighth lap.
"It is true that in the dry season he was a bit lacking, but as soon as it rained he started to feel better, more comfortable than the other riders, who were a little more afraid of him."
"Quickly, he started to improve. It seems that the situation has aligned himself with him and he has left the pits in first position. Everything shows that he will get his first win in a long time," said Lorenzo.
After falling on the eighth lap, the Spaniard continued racing. However, on lap 18, Marquez fell again after his motorbike skidded at turn 6. The incident made the 28-year-old driver fail to continue racing.
"When I saw him very confidently, very aggressively, already on wet tires, I started to fear him falling because I saw him being too confident and there were a lot of races to go through."
"Unfortunately my fear came true and I saw him on the ground. It was really disappointing, because victory was near. It would be a great joy after months of suffering," said Lorenzo.
