Officially Announced, Hyper Scape Becomes Ubisoft's New Game with Battle Royale Genre!

Saturday, July 4, 2020

UPDATimes - If previously the presence of the Hyper Scape game was leaked by Rod Breslau, now Ubisoft has finally officially announced the presence of the newest game to the public through a trailer that lasts more than 1 minute.

Comes with the Battle Royale genre, Hyper Scape is known to bring FPS gameplay similar to Apex Legends or Call of Duty: Warzone but with a theme set in a city called Neo-Arcadia in 2054.

Although the anime has begun to subside despite being resurrected with Call of Duty Warzone and Apex Legends, but it seems that the battle royale genre is still the target of world-class developers. Since the presence of PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds, many developers have competed to get involved in the genre.

Having a little Cyberpunk vibe, it is known that players will be able to use a variety of abilities ranging from Hacks that can make players to place mines, protect squad, to see enemies behind walls.

Besides the graphics offered are also pretty good. Although it cannot be equivalent to the game Call of Duty: Warzone, at least the effects that are in this game make it look even cooler and also worth playing.

Call it EA with Firestorm from Battlefield V, Valve with Dangerzone Counter-Strike: Global Offensive, Activision with Blackout and Warzone Black Ops and Modern Warfare, Epic Games with Fortnite Battle Royale, Hi-Rez with Realm Royale, to one of the pioneers of hero shooter battle royale, Respawn Entertainment with his Apex Legends.

But from the large list of developers and publishers who generally have these shooter games, news of the presence of Ubisoft which has not a few shooter games to jump into the genre popularized by Brendan's work "PlayerUnknown" Greene was not quickly surfaced. Assume the fans that the French company is focusing on working on the Assassin's Creed series and other game as service like Roller Champions.

It is known that Ubisoft will also use a marketing system like what Riot Games did for the Valorant game where it will work with several content creators on Twitch to play the game.

Until now there has been no official information from the Ubisoft related when the game will be released. But Rod Breslau previously said that this game will be launched on July 12, 2020 and is available free-to-play or free!

One of the people in esports, Rod Breslau reported that Ubisoft is currently working on a free to play battle royale game with the codename "Prisma Dimension" but with the title Hyper Scape. The game developed by Ubisoft Montreal, the developer of the main series of Assassin's Creed will take up a futuristic theme with a crossplay feature between the PC and console.

Breslau also said that Hyper Scape will collaborate with Twitch to integrate the game with the streaming game platform. The Twitch chat feature is said to be the main factor that will be directly related to it.

Hyper Scape will launch on July 12, 2020 with closed beta next week on PC. While the console version will be released this year without further information.

Do not want to linger, Ubisoft immediately launched its official website. The Prisma Dimensions website is a home of one of the technology fiction companies that deals with "direct neural simulation". Their products? Of course Hyper Scape.

It is said that Hyper Scape will be a virtual simulation which they describe as the "pulse-punding action of Crown Rush" in a city called Neo Arcadia which will be announced on July 2nd.

Unlike Breslau, game journalist Kevin Sebastian shared some new images about Hyper Scape. He mentioned that the game will be a first-person free-to-play battle royale game which will be released on PC via open beta on July 12, 2020.
