UPDATimes - SAUDI - The Saudi Arabian government has reopened around 90,000 mosques in large parts of the country. This is the first time in two months during which the kingdom loosened the Covid-19 lockdown.
After the reopening of the mosques, Saudi citizens flocked to the mosque to perform congregational prayers.
"The pilgrims rushed to the house of Allah to carry out their mandatory duties (prayer) after the reopening of the mosque," the Ministry of Islamic Affairs of Saudi Arabia said on Twitter.

Related to this, the Saudi Arabian government itself has set rules for pilgrims to keep a distance of two meters between shafts, wear face masks, and bring their own prayer rugs.

The government also regulates the opening and closing hours of the mosque which is opened 15 minutes before the prayer and will be closed 10 minutes after the prayer.
"My feelings cannot be described. We are very happy. Thank God we returned to (His) home," Abdulrahman, 45, told AFP news agency at Al-Rajhi Mosque.
