UPDATimes - United States President Donald Trump criticized the World Health Organization (WHO) for being too biased toward China during the corona virus outbreak (Covid-19).
"WHO has really failed," Trump said in his Twitter post as quoted by Reuters.
"For some reason, (though) it is largely funded by the US, (WHO) is very China-centric. We will pay attention to this issue. Luckily I rejected their suggestion of opening our borders to China from the start. Why did they give us such wrong recommendations ? " continued Trump.

Until now, WHO has not commented on Trump's criticism.

On the same day, the Trump administration announced the travel agreement from China. US conservatives increasingly criticized WHO during the global pandemic by saying the world health agency relied on incorrect corona virus outbreak data from China.
Last week, Senator Marco Rubio called for the resignation of WHO Director General Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus.
"He let Beijing use the WHO to mislead the global community," Rubio said.
