UPDATimes - presence of the covit-19 virus outbreak now has canceled many activities. But apparently the presence of the virus did not make China stop the mission to Mars which will be carried out in 2020.
⠀
Named Tianwen-1, the mission carried out by China Aerospace Science and Technology Corporation or CASC is known to continue to be carried out in July this year.
⠀
Later the mission will bring 13 payloads containing 7 orbiter and 6 explorer robots. Yes, the Chinese side did not send humans at all on the mission so there is nothing to worry about later.
⠀
It is known that China has been planning this project since 2016 so they really want to send the robot to explore Mars as fast as possible.
⠀
Later Tianwen-1 will reach Mars around February 2021. In addition, the robot they sent must also be able to work a few months after they landed on Mars.
⠀
As information, Tianwen-1 itself is the second attempt from China to land their robot on Mars. Previously in 2011 they also launched the Yinghuo-1 mission. But the rocket failed to fly.
