UPDATimes - The film Captain America is said to have predicted the emergence of the corona pandemic virus. Like the picture uploaded by a Facebook account costumarvel.
The picture he posted, was a billboard above the left shoulder of American Captain Steve Rogers, which claimed to be a form or illustration of the Corona virus. In upload, the Costumarvel account also completes with narration and hashtags as follows:
"In the film Captain America, Captain Steve wakes up in modern times and you can see the corona virus. Repost @ marvel2k19__ infinitywar #chrisevans #chrishemsworth #captainamerica #thor #falconandthewintersoldier #hawkeye #infintywar #marvelindonesia #marvelindo #konspir"
In the picture uploaded the Costumarvel account has three parts. The English text follows: "IN CAPTAIN AMERICA, STEVE ROGERS WAKE UP IN A MODERN TIME, AND YOU CAN SEE CORONA AND VIRUS", "DO YOU KNOW?" and "DO NOT STAY WITH ME ROGER, DO YOU KNOW?"
The upload made on June 12, 2020 was immediately traced by Adi Syafitrah, one of the Indonesian Anti-Defamation Community Volunteers (Mafindo). Based on search results, the claim was in the film "Captain America: The First Avenger" in 2011 had predicted the corona virus is a false claim.

"It's not an illustration of the Corona or Covid-19 virus, but it's a spaghetti. The billboard above Captain America's left shoulder, Steve Rogers is an ad for Barilla paste," Adi wrote in a review of the fact, Tuesday (06/16/2020).
The Barilla paste ad in question is an ad maker illustrating spaghetti into flower fragments or fireworks. This advertisement as a new year greeting was posted on a site on December 21, 2010.

The ending scene "Captain America" was filmed on location in Times Square, which means many of the advertisements in the background were actually shown in New York in the real world around the time the film was filmed. This 2011 Shutterstock image, for example, shows many of the same billboards. These include Corona Light beer and Barilla pasta ads that are claimed to be "coronavirus" signs in Times Square.

"Thus, the claims mentioned by the costumarvel account certainly do not correspond to facts and lead to Misleading Content or misleading content. The content can lead to wrong interpretations and can deceive or lead the opinions of readers," said Adi.
