UPDATimes - BTS also celebrated the Virtual Class of 2020 virtual graduation on YouTube. Dear Class of 2020 which takes place on Sunday, June 7, 2020, is a celebration of graduation for all school children in 2020 online. They could not celebrate graduation like previous years because of the Covid-19 pandemic.
Seven BTS personnel wear black suits with white shirts. They delivered the opening speech of the Dear Class of 2020 from the National Museum of Korea, Seoul, South Korea. Each of them took turns sharing messages of hope and inspiration for 2020 classes in Korean and English. Also tucked interesting stories about their graduation.
"Dear Class of 2020, this is a different year. But you guys graduated! Today there may be no flowers and we don't wear graduation hats. What we have is the most special graduation ceremony in history," RM BTS said during a speech.

The leader of the BTS K-Pop group hopes that those who celebrate graduation virtually can continue to reach their dreams. "We can only see each other through this camera and small screen, but I know your future will develop into something much bigger and extraordinary," said the man whose real name is Kim Namjoon.

With a playful BTS style, they ended the clip with humorous gestures, "Congratulations, Class of 2020!" they shouted before throwing the graduation hat in the air. "This is indeed a difficult time. We hope to bring a smile to all of you."
In addition to BTS, a number of public figures also participated in the Dear Class of 2020 virtual graduation on YouTube. They include Beyonce, Lady Gaga, Barack Obama and Michelle Obama.
