5 This Country Prepares To Welcome Tourists in the New Normal Era

UPDATimes - The tourism industry is one of the sectors most affected by the corona virus pandemic (Covid-19). This is felt by almost all countries in the world because of the restrictions and locking rules.

But slowly, the tourism industry began to rise and get ready to welcome tourists by applying the new normal health protocol or a new order of life.

Summarizing from various sources, Wednesday (06/03/2020), this is a series of countries that are starting to welcome tourists.

1.ITALY

Earlier this month the Rome Colosseum, the Tower of Pisa, the Vatican museum and the Sistine chapel were reopened for visitors. There are strict rules that require visitors to maintain social distance. In addition, there is also crowd control which limits the number of guests.

2.TURKEY

Cafes, restaurants, swimming pools, parks, beaches, childcare centers, fitness centers and museums have been allowed to reopen in Turkey. Rules of social distance and crowd control apply. In addition there are still restrictions on movement for people aged over 65 years and under 18 years.

3.GERMANY

Some tourist attractions in Germany began to open in the summer. There was tight crowd control from the police on duty on the island of Sylt in the northern state of Schleswig-Holstein. Extra portable toilets are also provided to avoid crowds.

In cities like Haffkrug and Scharbeutz there are temporary bans on tourist days and parking is limited to a maximum of 70%. In addition, some hiking trails were closed by the authorities to prevent crowds.

4.NETHERLAND

The Dutch government has revoked the restriction rule. Schools, theaters, museums, restaurants, cafes, bars and beaches have begun to reopen. There are new rules that apply to the theater, bars and restaurants that can only serve up to 30 people inside. In addition, it must apply a social distance of 1.5 meters and no reservation.

5.AUSTRALIA

In the state of New South Wales, Australia, restaurants, pubs, bars, clubs and cafes have reopened and are only allowed to accommodate up to 50 people. Libraries, art galleries, museums, zoos and parks are also preparing to reopen.

The rules of public social distance will continue to apply with the police conducting patrols and random health checks to monitor compliance with regulations.

For those whose results are negative, there is a seven-day independent quarantine period. Whereas if the result is positive quarantined for 14 days.
